Carolyn
and her husband Bill live in Holliston with their three
children.
Carolyn was raised in Massachusetts as the oldest of
two children. Her younger brother John (Jac), his wife
and young son are stationed at Idaho’s Mountain Home Air
Force Base.
As a child, Carolyn and her family went camping
regularly and spent time every summer on a lake in rural
Maine where her father spent time as a child. Her
father’s stories about changes to the lake’s water
quality, wildlife and open space, gives Carolyn a
respect for nature and the environment which drive many
of her environmental positions.
Carolyn’s husband Bill is a native of Indiana and
works for Fidelity Investments in Boston. A regular
rider of the commuter rail, Bill is a strong proponent
of improvements to public transportation.
The three Dykema children, David, Julia and Andrew,
are receiving a high quality education in the Holliston
public schools and enjoy spending part of their summer
in the outdoors of Maine.
